Newton-X is developed within an international community of researchers working on nonadiabatic dynamics, excited-state simulations, and related computational methods. We support training activities, research visits, and collaborative software development.

Newton-X developers regularly contribute to workshops and schools on mixed quantum–classical dynamics, nonadiabatic molecular dynamics, and computational photochemistry.

Research visits in Marseille
Students and researchers interested in learning or applying Newton-X may contact us regarding a short research stay at Aix-Marseille University.
These visits must normally be supported by the visitor’s institution or another external source of funding. Before contacting us, prospective visitors should identify a scientific project, the Newton-X methods or modules they wish to use, the proposed duration of the stay, and a potential source of financial support.
Collaborations
Contributions extending the capabilities of Newton-X are welcome. Researchers planning to implement new methods, interfaces, analysis tools, or other features are encouraged to contact the development team at an early stage.
Early discussion can help to:
- avoid duplication or conflicts with developments already in progress;
- ensure compatibility with the Newton-X architecture and coding conventions;
- identify opportunities for collaboration;
- obtain scientific and technical guidance from experienced developers; and
- facilitate testing, documentation, and eventual integration into an official release.
Both individual contributions and broader collaborative projects are welcome.
